Pastry for One, Jerky for All

The two malcians looked at the plate in Cedar's paws, the humanoid frowning before speaking. "You have made a danish. Singular. One. Do you really believe that will satisfy for the feast?" Immediately, Cedar got on the defensive, the little beastman's cheeks puffing up a little as he pouted. "W-Well! It's a danish made with a lot of love! So what if I just made one? Everyone can share if they try hard enough!"

Krolikez pat him on the head once, smirking. "Heh, the little beastman underestimates the hunger of the masses." That only made Cedar blush with embarrassment, shaking in his spot. He hated when Krolikez treated him like an idiot. "Hmph!  What did you get then if it's so much better?"

The taller malcian pulled out a large piece of meat, thin but sturdy looking, almost like a... wing? Cedar's eyes widened, thinking that the pieces were clicking in his head. "Ah! Is- is- is t-that a dra-"

"It is a collection of birds. You assume the worst too quickly." Krolikez corrected before he could finish his sentence, leaving the expression of shock to turn into one of annoyance again. "It's not my fault! Why did you glue them meat up like that!? It looked just like a dragon wing!"

Krolikez shoved the meat back into his bag, making a small noise of acknowledgement. "Will cook during feast, turn it into tough meat snack and share with the people. Will feed much more than beastman's little pastry."

Cedar put his hands up, pastry plate still in his large hand. "Augh! I can't stand you!" With that, he turned and walked off, back towards the direction of the feast. Krolikez smirked again, despite knowing that Cedar couldn't see it. As much as he teased the poor beastman, Krolikez genuinely hoped that the little amount of people who could eat the danish enjoyed it... and if nobody did, than Krolikez would eat the rest of it... 

Even if it did have some sawdust in it like last time Cedar baked....
