Silas's Halloween Misfortune
Silas is a socially awkward malcian. While he's not keen on mingling with many people, he still wants to make a good contribution to the Halloween Event since he's a softie. He planned on making many Halloween Candy for nearby villagers while putting on a ghost costume since it was quite a simple costume to make.
After a long process of "cooking", he successfully made many eyeball candy that suspiciously looks and tastes the same as real eyeball (don't ask me how I know it tastes similar to the real one *nervously shifting my eyes*). His simple ghost costume was also done on time (the only normal thing related to this.....for now).
Since his home is deep inside the forest on the top part of a mountain, the path to the nearby village is quite long and in terrible condition. The plain ghost costume that he made was torn apart from many sharp branches while he's still in the middle of the path. He stitched half of the torn parts with a needle and thread that he brought in his pocket (why did he even bring it? *Even the narrator is confused*). He was forced to leave the other half of the torn parts as it was, since the thread that he brought was not enough. As a result, the ghost costume that he put on was becoming more horrifying!!
After the ruin of his costume, his misfortune didn't seem to stop there! He tripped because of the slippery part and took a fall near the end of the forest. The fall also makes him accidentally throw the candy basket to a nearby river (well... I guess it's a misfortune for Silas and a fortune for the villagers at the same time....). His costume got worn out too from the fall, which ironically adds the spooky aspect of the costume.
By midnight, he finally arrived at the nearby village, wondering aimlessly since his basket of candy was ruined. He didn't know what to do and had a gloomy aura. While he became absentminded, he unintentionally scaring many villagers that passed by. It seems that Silas still successfully contributes to Halloween even without the candy :)
