The Swamp

The Swamp serves as a good training ground for beginners to venture in.
Most of the Malcians here would just be facing smaller critters
and occasionally a tad bit larger ones. But nothing of this size....

The locals warned them of the “Echo,” a monstrous frog said
to sleep beneath the black waters. Most dismissed it
as superstition until the swamp went silent.

Then the water moved.

From beneath tangled roots rose a giant frog larger than a wagon,
its croak shook the reeds like thunder.
